Agreeing to these terms

These terms apply when you use this website or hire Elite Bell Gardens Spray Foam Insulation for work at your home or business. If you browse the site, send us a request or book a job with us, you're agreeing to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or our services.

A written estimate or contract for a specific job may add terms or change them for that job. When it does, the written estimate or contract controls for that job.

What we do

We're an insulation contractor in Bell Gardens, CA, and we work in Bell Gardens and the cities around it. Our work includes spray foam, blown-in and attic insulation, insulation removal, air sealing, crawl space and wall insulation, vapor barriers and related jobs. The information on this site is general. It explains how the work usually goes, but every house is different, so it isn't a promise about your house. We'll only know what your job needs once we've seen your attic, walls or crawl space in person.

Estimates and pricing

We give free estimates at your property, with no obligation. An estimate is based on what we can see and reach at the visit, such as the space's size, how much old insulation is up there and its condition, how easy the area is to get to, and the material you choose.

Some things only show up once the job is open, like wet or contaminated insulation, damaged framing or hidden gaps. If we find something that changes the scope or the price, we'll stop and explain it, and we won't do the added work until you approve it.

Unless your written estimate says otherwise, an estimate is good for the period it states. After that, material and labor costs may have changed, so we may need to update it.

Scheduling, access and cancellation

We'll set a start date with you and do our best to keep it. Weather, material delays, illness or a problem on an earlier job can push a date back, and when that happens we'll tell you as soon as we know and reschedule with you.

You agree to give our crew safe access to the work area on the scheduled day. That includes clearing stored items from the attic, garage or crawl space when we ask, and keeping kids and pets away from the work area. Some materials, spray foam in particular, need everyone out of the house for a set time before it's safe to come back. That wait is called the re-entry time, and we'll tell you what it is for your job before we start. You agree to follow it.

If you need to cancel or move your appointment, please call us at (213) 329-1827 as early as you can. If we've already ordered special materials or turned other work away for your job, your written estimate or contract may set a fee for canceling late. Any right to cancel that California law gives you still applies.

Payment

Your written estimate or contract states the total, any deposit and when each payment is due. Unless it says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is complete.

If a payment is late, we may pause unfinished work until the account is current. You're responsible for any reasonable costs we have to pay to collect an overdue balance, as far as the law allows.

Warranties and what they don't cover

We want you happy with the work, and if something isn't right, call us and we'll come back and look at it. Any specific warranty on our workmanship is the one written in your contract. Insulation and foam products carry their own maker's warranties, and those makers decide what they cover.

Apart from those written warranties and anything the law requires, our services and this website are provided as they are. We don't promise a specific drop in your power bill or a specific indoor temperature, because those depend on your house, your HVAC system, the weather and how you use the home.

Warranties usually don't cover damage from leaks, pests, other contractors' work, changes you make after we leave, or problems that existed before we started and weren't part of our job.

Limits on our liability

As far as the law allows, Elite Bell Gardens Spray Foam Insulation isn't responsible for indirect or follow-on losses, such as lost income, hotel costs or the cost of staying elsewhere beyond the re-entry time we gave you. Our total responsibility for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.

Nothing here limits our responsibility for harm we cause on purpose or through gross negligence, or any right California law doesn't let us take away.

Settling a disagreement

If you have a problem with our work or a bill, please call us first or reach us through the contact page. Most issues get sorted out quickly in a conversation, and we'll make a good-faith effort to fix things before anyone takes it further.

If we can't resolve it together, either of us may bring the matter in small claims court or another court with authority over it in Los Angeles County, California.

Which law applies

These terms and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to rules that would apply another state's law.

Using this website

The text, photos and design on this site belong to Elite Bell Gardens Spray Foam Insulation or are used with permission, so please don't copy them for commercial use without asking us. We try to keep the site accurate and current, but we can't promise it will always be error-free or available.

Links to other websites are there for your convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for what's on them.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one in effect. A change won't alter the terms of a job you've already signed for unless we both agree to it in writing.
